Division Bell
This cocktail is comes to us from Philip Ward, was one of the 20 tequila and mezcal cocktails on Mayahuel's opening menu. The name references the Pink Floyd album that Ward listened to over and over while constructing the bar.
Ingredients:
Ice
1 ounce mezcal
3/4 ounce Aperol (bitter orange Italian aperitif)
1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
1 grapefruit twist, preferably spiral-cut, for garnish
Instructions:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the garnish and shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass and garnish with the grapefruit twist.
