Sacred Sounds & Spirits: An Evening of Mezcal and Sound Bowl Healing at Tahona
A union of ancient traditions where Himalayan sound healing meets Mexico's sacred spirit, hosted at San Diego's premier mezcal destination.
The Experience
Immerse yourself in the transcendent vibrations of authentic Himalayan singing bowls while exploring the depths of artisanal mezcal. Each bowl, handcrafted through a sacred 100-hour process using seven precious metals, creates pure, harmonious tones that restore balance and tranquility.
Your Hosts
Tahona, San Diego's epicenter of mezcal culture, houses over 120 carefully selected mezcals. Their mission celebrates Mexican heritage through its most iconic spirit, offering both educational tastings and innovative cocktails alongside Oaxacan-inspired cuisine.
Gum Saan brings a 40-year legacy of curating sacred instruments, beginning with their family collection in 1950s Japan. They work directly with Tibetan artisan families in Kathmandu, preserving ancient craftsmanship through mindful sourcing.
What to Expect
Begin with an educational mezcal tasting guided by Tahona's expert team, exploring the complex flavors born from centuries of tradition. Then transition into a deeply restorative sound healing session, where singing bowls' vibrations align with mezcal's warming embrace to create a unique meditative journey.
The Setting
Experience this cultural confluence in Tahona's atmospheric space, where two healing traditions merge - the ancient wisdom of mezcal meets the sacred resonance of Himalayan bowls - creating an evening of unparalleled sensory exploration.
